MAKEDA SCHOOL

The Makeda School for Art, Media, and Humanities, founded in 2022, is a speculative and alternative learning space rooted in Black studies, Black feminist theory, and queer theory, offering courses and workshops to a diverse group of individuals.

  • It was a great experience to have a remote space overviewing the essentials of filmmaking. It was also really exciting to have the push and encouragement to creating something for the sake of practice and learning.
